This class uses a powerful yet simple, free image & photo editor program. You can crop, resize, sharpen, straighten, rotate and adjust brightness. It has a wide variety of advanced features, including: layers, unlimited undo, magic wand, clone stamp and red-eye removal. It also has numerous effects you can apply to your images and a tab-based system which lets you quickly jump between multiple images and offers support for 3rd party plug-ins.

The primary interest is in teaching members about the various ways of selecting, and maintaining portfolios of stocks. The portfolios include growth stocks, value stocks, dividend stocks and mutual funds. Our primary charting program is the TC 2000. We use Excell, Quicken and other computer programs in each class as well as extensively use of the internet.
Of course we do not recommend that anyone invest in any stocks selected for discussion in the class nor do we suggest that members invest in the portfolios prepared by group members for the class.
